Privacy policy

This policy explains how Everlong Roof Restorations collects, uses and protects your personal information.

What we collect

When you request a quote or contact us we collect your name, phone number, email address, the property address, details about the work and any photos you choose to send. We also keep records of quotes, invoices, payments and messages we exchange with you.

Why we collect it

  • To contact you, inspect your roof, prepare a quote and carry out the work.
  • To send invoices and receipts and keep the business records the law requires.
  • To understand which of our advertising brings in enquiries.

Cookies and analytics

With your permission we use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to see which pages and ads bring in enquiries. If you choose “No thanks”, these are not loaded. We also set one first-party cookie that remembers which page or ad first brought you to the site, so we can tell which campaigns work. It contains no personal details.

Address lookup

When you type an address into the site, the letters you type are sent to an address lookup service (Photon, which uses OpenStreetMap data, or Google Places) to suggest matching addresses. Only the text you type is sent, not your name or contact details.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (for example email and SMS delivery, hosting, and our accountant), and only as needed for those purposes, or where the law requires it.

Marketing

We only send marketing messages with your consent, and every message includes a way to unsubscribe.

Storage and security

Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled systems. Photos you upload have their location data removed when they're saved.

Access and correction

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing everlongrr@gmail.com or calling 0404 021 652. If you're not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
